This is
a page which I have abducted from the First Church Of Satan site, it answers a
lot of questions about Satanism and corrects a lot of commonly held beliefs about
Satanism.

Satanists argue over the existence/non-existence of Satan as an entity. Our position is that the fight should not be about whether or not you have a relationship with a real or imagined entity. The argument or discussion should be about whether your belief system is dogmatic or non-dogmatic. Understand that in a universe of relatives there are no absolute truths, however there are present-day unconfirmed realities due to a lack of empirical evidence. What you will read in this FAQ is Lord Egan's interpretation of those realities - they need not be yours! Satanism has always been a precursor to the free thought movement; we see no reason why this should change. We shall continue to "rend the rusty padlocks and chains of dead custom that always prevent healthy expansion."
If you come here searching for a new set of rules to contradict your parent religion, we suggest you look elsewhere. Why? Because Satanists boast of Luciferian pride; the ability to contradict authority... ANY authority. If you still feel lost and crave dogma to set your moral compass, then by all means become a pseudo- Satanist or devil-worshiper (actually, an inverse Christian); learn well those Nine Statements, the Rules of the Earth, the Paradoxical Reversion. Also know that you must never question your betters! Stratification is the law by which the devil worshiper abides and servitude is their portion. Satanists are strongly opposed to devil worship and all systems which seek to enslave the spirit.
Lord Egan is a cosmic maverick who
holds to an unequivocal belief that all spiritual paths are essentially valid.
He does not proselytize a One True Way, just the path which encourages
your growth mentally and spiritually. With each small bit, we grow, each path
becomes more like the other, until we are walking around with the same clarity
of thought and awareness as a yogi who has attained nirvana. Traditions have
not failed us, the devotee simply has to dig deeper and look within,
because that's the only place you're ever really going to find
any truth! Avoid the horrendous pitfalls of fragmented dualistic religious
traditions and remember, "The gravest of all sins is self-deceit!"

There are three schools of thought in Satanism. Each one has been adopted, corrupted and euphemized by Christians to symbolize Father, Son and Holy Spirit. Let the mask be stripped and the veil torn asunder that all may see;
1.) Gnostic Satanism (The Father)
There are a race of beings far more advanced than our own who live beyond our limited linear perception of time and space. They have, down through history, been called by various names; gods, angels, daemons, seraphim, "Heavenly Father," etc. These beings possess infinite cosmic power and wisdom compared to ourselves, but they are not really supernatural per se, just more advanced - nothing more, nothing less. This includes Satan personified (The Prince of Darkness). This tendency to worship them is a natural reaction of our primitive minds. Hereafter, we will refer to these beings as daemons.
We have not as yet developed the cranial capacity to perceive or comprehend the perceptions they have acquired regarding the complex nature of this universe. Direct intrusion into our lives and affairs would thwart our potential growth and evolution - we must continue to struggle and be allowed to make our own mistakes, otherwise evolution is halted, as there are no lessons being learned. There is, however, a natural way in which these daemons (or watchers) inspire us and communicate ideas; through an impersonal device known as the Archetypal Form which exists in the realm of the collective unconscious.
The collective unconscious is a psychic realm that we as humans share, and it has been developed layer upon layer for ages - the most accessible "layers" would be common to one's family, then the tribe, race, and so on. By the time we reach the bottom layer, we realize that every living thing is connected to every other living thing, throughout our world, galaxy and Universe! Even our mentors, the daemons acknowledge their origins and state, "All the gods are of the god. All the goddesses are of the goddess. And the god and goddess are of the All." The Prince of Darkness, Satan himself, venerates the miracle of creation, the dark womb from which all life has sprung.
The collective unconscious has a dual aspect—it consists of instincts and archetypes. Instincts are rudimentary survival responses which have been preserved in psychic memory throughout generations of the species. Archetypes are primordial images which have evolved out of the instinctual content because we have attained a certain level of being. These primordial images are nothing less than primitive ideas and symbols, or series of symbols, which formulate our perceptions of the world and our place in it. The archetypes are also our portals to infinite wisdom, because they provide the natural way in which daemons can communicate with humankind, behaving not unlike computer modems.
This conversation occurs when the consciousness is an altered state. The particular state of mind required has a name: samadhi or Gnosis (pronounced "know-sis"). It is the No-mind, the ain or nothing, stopping the internal dialogue. It is also one-pointedness, passing through the eye of a needle.
There are two methods used to achieve gnosis; the inhibitory mode, where the mind is progressively silenced until only a single object of concentration remains, and the excitory mode, where the mind is raised to a very high pitch of excitement while focus on an idea is fixed or maintained. The latter describes the exalted state of the celebrant during a Greater Black Magical operation. There is a push/pull effect that transpires because strong stimulation eventually elicits a reflex inhibition which paralyzes all but the most central function - the object of concentration. That object could be a petition or question posed to a certain deity or archetypal form - it could be a visual of some future event. Thus strong inhibition and strong excitation end up producing the same effect - that one-pointed consciousness, or gnosis.
Please note that inhibitory and
excitatory techniques can be employed sequentially, just not together in the
same operation.

2.) Traditional Satanism (The Son)
All creatures on the wheel of life evolve gradually, as do the souls which inhabit these forms. All life springs from the All, that dark force which permeates the Universe and sends each atom spinning; prana, orgone or cosmic energy, call it what you will - it is the Dark Mother Kali/Shiva.
Beginning with the lower order of species, one particular strain will possess what could be termed a "hive soul." Take for example the monarch butterfly - there are thousands in existence, yet they collectively possess one soul. When a specie dies and is considered extinct, that collective soul forms the basis for a new specie. The hive soul will eventually see it's last (collective) incarnation and emerge as a unified individual soul.
To my knowledge, there are many human souls which have come into existence this way, however, the process of Becoming does not end there!
Theories regarding divergent lifelines and parallel universes are all very true. The human soul can not as yet declare it's unique existence, for it enjoys simultaneous multiple existences in these various dimensions. A perceptual blurring together of these realities and various past life recollections is avoided by a natural "cosmic buffer" which serves a pragmatic purpose; enabling one to focus and thereby benefit from the experiences, choices and lessons of his/her current lifeline. The cycle of life, death and reincarnation continues unabated for millions of years and slowly, these lifelines begin to merge until they become fully integrated and... when they do... a daemon is born!
Daemons possess great cosmic power, multi-dimensional awareness, a magnified Will and a superior intellect - as a result, their lives are infinitely more complex than our own. Unlike mortals, they choose a time and place to express themselves physically.
When daemons walk among us, they are born into this world in the usual fashion - there are no virgin births or "immaculate conceptions." Also, the physical body is very frail with a limited cranial capacity compared with evolution on a universal grand scale. Therefore, the daemon lends only part of his essence to a human incarnation, otherwise the concentration of prana would be too great, akin to overloading an electrical appliance. This explains why Christians have this concept of Jesus being "the son of a god." It must be stressed that, as a race, these advanced souls come infrequently - they are not at war with one another as our primitive mythologies suggest.
When daemons incarnate, the "cosmic buffer" serves a slightly different purpose; by merely focusing their attention, they can retrieve information on an "as needed basis" concerning past lives, other dimensions, cosmic events... The conscious mind, in this case, is so sharp and focused, it can easily penetrate the buffer which still serves much the same purpose; avoiding an overload of psychic sensory information.
Joan of Arc was also a daemon, as were Christ and Buddha. Loki/Lucifer/Horus is perhaps the oldest and wisest amongst them always choosing the form of a shaman, priest or healer. Lucifer is the Illuminated One, the Light Bearer, the Crowned and Conquering Child, the outward physical manifestation of Satan, The Prince of Darkness.
Lucifer is the embodiment of that force which leads to progress by upsetting the natural order when necessary - this has goaded Man from brute existence towards that which is truly human and ultimately godlike. This is the real significance of the Genesis legend and Man's "fall" from grace. Man creates gods in his own image, thereby recreating himself. If you wish to see an icon, look in the mirror! By worshiping the god within, we honor both ourselves and Lucifer, as we move toward a more complex state of being. Therefore, the cornerstone of our faith has been and shall always be, "There is no god above Man," because all layers of intelligence in this Universe are cut from the same dark cloth.
Always remember that daemons are
merely a manifestation of the future of our race. We are all inherently divine,
the co-creators of a New World Order! In this fashion we shall create Gods in
Our Own Image, for we are the Creators, and we are the Created. A couple
produce an offspring (creators), but they were infants at one time (created).
What I'm suggesting is this; something similar occurs on a spiritual level.
Ducks give birth to ducklings. Gods (daemons) give birth to godlings (humans).
Evolution occurs, growth occurs and the cycle continues. Humans will eventually
evolve to a plane of consciousness where this process is recognized and
understood. When this happens, religion as we know it will die because faith
succumbs to direct knowledge.

3.)
Generational Satanism (The
Unholy Spirit)
There is a more important aspect of Satan, above/beyond any archetypal form or evolved existence - and that is the force these myths represent! The so-called yin, sod, prana or atma (breath of life). It is the Dark Force or animating principle which permeates and balances the Universe, the Cosmocrator! This force is also called entropy for it consumes time/space, but in doing so, new life is created. It is mythological Greek Ouroboros, the serpent devouring its own tail - the alpha and the omega - the solve et coagula of existence! The words inscribed within the circle read, "The All is One."
Wiccans refer to this force as The
Goddess. Some Satanists fancy it as the Dark Mother, Kali/Shiva; the All
Begetter, All Destroyer. In the Vedic (Tantric) tradition, the SAT (Being,
Creation) is manifested from the TAN (Boundless Darkness, The All) ergo, Satan.
Physicists call it dark matter. Wilhelm Reich had a name for it - orgone
energy. But it is not energy, nor is it matter! However, it molds everything
that is energy/matter. There is no stasis, anywhere. Kali indeed pushes
everything into existence, then pulls everything back to its doom or
primary essence. It Wills what man calls evil, yet causes good.

The FCoS, as our name implies, is a "heretical" offshoot of the original Church of Satan. When we say, "heretical," we mean this to indicate that we are "heretics" in the eyes of those who compose the so-called "elite" element of the current, LaVey-less CoS. In fact, our High Priest, Lord Egan, was a member of the early Church of Satan lead by the late LaVey, back in the early 1970s, and fondly recalls the libertarian, Dionysian bent of the Church in those days.
That being said, the FCoS also recognizes
that much of LaVeyan Satanism in its original form was a simplified version of
the teachings of the great dark magus Aleister Crowley. We, believe, as
did Crowley, in the sovereign uniqueness of each individual -- that "every
man and every woman is a star," at least potentially -- and in the right,
if not the utter responsibility, of each human being to cast off the
preformatted identity handed down by society in order to remake the self, to
become "God-like" (Crowley's "Formula of I.A.O.").
This quest to truly become yourself, as Nietzsche put it, can only be
accomplished by freeing the mind of the inculcated control mechanisms of The
Matrix. We believe this can be done by the application of Dionysian
activity under the control of the intellect, or Dionysus under the yoke of
Apollo -- what the poet Arthur Rimbaud called "a systematic disordering of
all the senses," the key term here being "systematic."
Crowley's motto "Love Under Will" is a similar expression of this
formula, and, as can be seen in Chapter VIII of The Satanic Bible,
entitled "Indulgence . . . Not Compulsion," this was a
philosophy that Anton LaVey himself once subscribed to, albeit in a less
philosophically evolved form.
The current Church of Satan really does NOT subscribe to the democratic form of sovereignty-for-all that the original CoS, via Aleister Crowley, embraced. Instead, the fading, threatened CoS is now reduced to babbling inanely and disdainfully about "elitism" and "eliteness," terms which in their view apply exclusively to their own ever-shrinking membership under hapless current High Priestess Blanche Barton. This seems to be tied up with a fondness, which they of course continually deny, for all things Nazi, Adolph Hitler and company being the ultimate symbol of the Apollonian mentality taken to its logical, deadly extreme: Order as Death, in other words. Today's CoS, while still claiming to be rooted in a "Dionysian" philosophy, in reality appears to be composed of a joyless conglomerate of straight-edge Neo-Nazi types who eschew all forms of transformative, "Dionysian" pleasure and attack those who espouse it as being mindless neo-hippies. We say, tell it to Baudelaire, to Jean Genet, to Jean Cocteau, to Henry Miller, to Lou Reed, to David Bowie, to most of the great artists who responded to an age of ultra-rationalism by going outside the prescribed and proscribed boundaries of society to bring back crucial knowledge. The FCoS believes that the individual has the right, if not the obligation, to conduct "crucial experiments" - experimentum crucis - upon the self. A Satanist is first and foremost a freethinking individual, a self-created entity -- this key point must NEVER be lost or obscured!
To quote Norman O. Brown:
"The human body is not a thing or substance, given, but a continuous creation . . . an energy system . . . which is never a complete structure; never static; is in perpetual inner self-construction and self-destruction; we destroy in order to make it new."
Our overall stand, then, on Anton Szandor LaVey?
While we recognize Anton LaVey's contribution to the ongoing manifestation of the Satanic in the mundane realm, we also feel that, as many dark magicians before him have done, LaVey eventually squandered his gift and his power, and became bitter and alienated: sadly it is this latter (post-1975) "LaVeyan" period that characterizes the outlook of the current CoS. This latter LaVey, a self-loathing man of Jewish descent who embraced fascism toward the end of his life, we can only regret, as he was an immensely gifted man, and as such his "second stage" was a tremendous waste of Satanic potential.
According to life-long LaVey associate Kenneth Anger, the reasons for LaVey's retreat into bitterness may have been as simple as jealousy and envy toward a greater black magician: "Crowley would have been too much hard work for Anton" Anger said in 1998. "Anton may have been a little jealous of Crowley; he may even have been a lot jealous" (quote from Lucifer Rising: Sin, Devil Worship and Rock N' Roll by Gavin Baddeley, 78).
We in the FCoS are being very public about our intention to maintain a Satanic organization that is not hostile and manipulative towards its own members, and we are very concerned about these qualities re the current Church of Satan, with Blanche Barton as High Priest. Lord Egan is determined to avoid the mistakes made by his mentor, Anton Szandor LaVey, and to bring to fruition a society which Crowley called "the logical climax of aristocracy, yet at the same time the logical climax of democracy, by asserting each individual equally to be the center of the universe." This is hardly some mush-brained Rousseauian vision, as the CoS would have you believe: we say, let's level the playing field, and then see who can "produce the goods." Going around with your nose in the air while claiming, without proof or justification, that you are better than everyone else, is the mark of people who in reality consider themselves inferior. Obvious, when you think about it, and hardly a "Satanic" attitude. We in the FCoS thus say that anyone who subscribes to this latter notion of "Satanic elitism" is welcome to send his or her $100 to HP Barton and company.
When individuality is crushed it is tyranny, no matter what label you affix to it; stratification, ethnic cleansing or holy war. The despot will profess he is enforcing the will of God or the mandate of Satan!
Anton LaVey did the cause of Satanism a grave disservice when he advocated stratification, calling for layers of hierarchal authority within the ranks of his organization. Since Satanism exalts Man as god and declares the Satanist to be Belial (without a master), LaVey's policy was doomed to failure. The result? Satanic infighting ensued and lasts to this day. Energy better put to constructive use is being senselessly squandered in a virtual pissing contest amongst peers. Routine posturing, bickering, slander and clandestine acts of terror against rival groups has made the LaVey cult a volatile one.
For the impotent, Satanic organizations represent the promise and illusion of power. Those who fail to climb the social ladder can flash their Satanic credentials to impress their friends. Occasionally, our High Priest will find himself confronted by those who make no attempt to hide their motives - some demand a clerical title prior to affiliation.
Mortals define themselves through various physical points of reference. The Daemon Egan looks upon degrees as silly, worthless pieces of pulp and acknowledges dependency upon them as an affectation of appearance. One might well ask, "Then why call yourself High Priest?" Certainly, hubris or excessive pride has little to do with it. Any search across the internet will demonstrate Egan is generally more despised than loved as High Priest. It has all to do with actions, not words - living the role.
Hereafter, we arrive at the inevitable question, "Aren't titles necessary to establish some sort of discipline or control?" Understand, we are Satanists! We must not allow ourselves to be defined by a culture which prescribes to a slave morality. Our objective adheres to a set of principles outlined by Crowley;
"The essence of every missionary message has always been to assimilate the taught to the teacher, and it has always been accompanied by bribes and threats. My message is exactly opposed to any of this. I say to each man and woman, 'You are unique and sovereign, the center of an universe. However right I may be in thinking as I do, you may be equally right in thinking otherwise. You can only accomplish your object in life by complete disregard of the opinions of other people.'
My mission is, in short, to bring everyone to the realization and enjoyment of his own kingship, and my apparent interference with him amounts to no more than advice to him not to suffer interference."
Temple of Set - (Isolate Intelligence)
The dark force which permeates and manifests the Natural Universe is not identified with Satan, but God. The purpose of Xeper is to achieve separation, isolation from the Natural Universe, a state of unique existence at the outer fringes of time and space. Like the Christians, Setians are dualists - Set is split apart and shielded from HarWer by the aforementioned cosmic buffer. Defined as "fitful" (spasmodic, chaotic, irregular), HarWer assumes the role of Set's "opposite face" - his evil twin.
The First Church of Satan - (The All Is One)
The dark force which permeates and
manifests the Natural Universe is One - there is no "other" and this
is the most wonderful of all possible worlds! Christian/Islamic dualism is
destructive, utter nonsense. The process of Becoming involves the magnification
and expansion of one's Will within the confines of the Natural Universe and
other multi-dimensional existences - a fully integrated state of existence
which transcends time and space.

It is imagined that the Satanist's favorite pastime is throwing curses upon the weak, the susceptible. In reality, we live by the Golden Rule, "Do unto others as you would have them do unto you." And certainly, if you were to treat another person badly, without just cause, would you not expect to be treated poorly in return? Of course you would. Therefore the Satanist will, from time to time, become an instrument of karma, a destructive agent against those who have transgressed others. Properly thrown, a curse can redress the balance, punishing the transgressor three-fold! Again, we do not speak of moral absolutes, but the universal constant, cause and effect as it applies to karma, black magic and physics.
The deluded Satanist falls right into the "dualistic trap" laid out for them by the Christian, Islamic and certain Hindu sects. Since these religions preach tolerance, brotherhood and kindness, they feel duty bound to react in a hateful, aggressive manner! Perhaps the worst thing one can do is mention the "L" word before a group of pseudo-Satanists because love is equated with weakness, hate with strength. In practice, however, quite the opposite is true.
The spiritual religions are psyche-denying, of that there can be no doubt - they forbid emotions like anger and lust, but in doing so they burst upon us unbridled! The evangelist forms a compulsive need for hookers, Islamic fundamentalists become an angry, bloodthirsty mob, etc...
The daemonic approach is to embrace
the sum total of human experience; love and hate, joy and despair, empathy and
indifference. One cannot achieve the pinnacle of ecstasy without having first
experienced the very depths of gloom - it's a simple law of nature! As we
traverse the Left Hand Path, we find perfect balance and strength at the matrix
of this dichotomy. Yes, we inhabit a universe of conflict and duality, but the
source of all life is the One, whose center is everywhere.

No! The difference between Satanism and devil worship is simple;
Devil worshippers are nothing more than wannabe renegade Christians still drowning in the belief that to be a Satanist they must use dogma that is the reverse of Christian belief.
Satanist are free thinkers, moving forward spiritually through self-exploration and spiritual stimulation.
Strictly speaking, a devil
worshipper is someone who worships evil as a moral absolute. The Satanist does
not recognize "good and evil" per se - only cause and effect
(yin/yang).

This is perhaps the most asinine
and hypocritical allegation directed towards Satanists. Let me give you a
hypothetical situation from where you may draw your own conclusions;
Farmer Brown runs a poultry farm in New England. Every Thanksgiving (a national
holiday), family members from far and wide come to visit, give thanks and enjoy
the traditional dinner. The morning the guests are about to arrive Farmer Brown
grabs the largest turkey he can find and chops off its head with an axe, then
prepares the bird for his guests. When the guests arrive, they all sit down,
say a prayer,
"Bless this, Thy bounty which we are about to receive." Now the scene
I just described is fairly common. Could this be ritual sacrifice?
Of course, the religious bigot will
rant, "Ritual sacrifice occurs during or prior to the act of
killing!" So, let's clarify; If Farmer Brown bowed his head and said
a little prayer to sweet Jesus before he chopped the turkey's head off, that
would be a ritual sacrifice and therefore, a crime against god and nature.
Brown should wait until he is about to eat the roasted carcass, standing
as head (priest) of the household, before a long table (altar), saying a
glorious prayer before the entire family (congregation).
This "ritual sacrifice" argument is bogus, purely in the eye of the
beholder. If a rabbi performs a kosher killing at the local slaughterhouse,
it's called "Passover." If a Christian Santeria priest cuts of the
head off a chicken, it is called "murder." These contradictions were
brought before the U.S. Supreme Court and guess what? The Santeria
practitioners won! It is legal for them to practice their religion in the
United States.
The First Church of Satan does not promote or practice the ritual slaughter of animals, but we will defend unto death the right of orthodox Jews, Christian Santerians, etc., to continue this practice unabated, as long as the slaughter is humane and the flesh properly cooked and eaten. It makes no difference whether you say your prayer before the animal is slaughtered or at the dinner table, after the animal is cooked. It's time Satanists quit riding the wave of a make-believe guilt trip invented by orthodox Christians!
So, what's this ritual sacrifice nonsense really about? It's about religious persecution - a fake argument to punish those religions you disagree with.
Satanists cherish the free will of all living creatures. Like any animal, we kill for food or survival (clothing, self-defense). When reverence for nature is absent, self-respect is diminished. Perception impacts behavior and vice versa. When an adolescent boy "thrill kills" the neighborhood dog or cat for the sake of cruelty toward the pet or its owner, this is not natural aggression, it is self-loathing. Corporal punishment alone might prove ineffective; a responsible program of challenges and rewards should be administered to build the boy's self-esteem.

The Daemon Egan is a veritable monster of depravity, having sodomized not hundreds, but thousands of boys, girls, men, women, and an assortment of farm animals. You should see him with a vacuum cleaner! Even more remarkable? This describes his activities before lunch on any given day! Egan lives in a high rise apartment complex with dozens of dogs, cats, iguanas and parakeets - tenants are cautioned to lock their doors when they are not at home. Convicted? No, not yet. One can only look to the heavens and pray...
Of course, the preceding paragraph was intended as a joke, filled with heavy sarcasm. But there is a more serious issue underlying these accusations;
In their desperation, Christian groups and members of the so-called San Francisco Church of Satan, will use this issue as a device to slander, discredit and destroy the lives and reputations of innocent people! Outspoken critics of CoS policy may soon find themselves on the receiving end of a modern-day Inquisition conducted by the witches themselves!
These are troubling times for the United States of America - people are morally confused and ethically bankrupt. By merely stating, "So and so supports some of the positions held by an alleged pedophile group," you've condemned that person to a feeding frenzy of lies, mindless hysteria, finger-waving, ridicule and twisted accusations! FCoS members wisely relegate the sexual age of consent issue to a much broader child-rearing issue. Lord Egan stands by his beliefs and issues this very strong statement;
Many Christians and would-be Satanists bemoan the fact that puberty has to occur so young! They complain, 'Wouldn't it be far more convenient to somehow delay the process until physical maturity matches mental maturity? Oh, let's say puberty at 21? or 25?'
As a Satanist, I am here to tell you that Nature doesn't make mistakes, people do! This is a call to all parents who can read these words; try educating your children for a change! Be diligent, responsible. Provide a moral and ethical framework - apply discipline when needed. Raise your child to be a responsible young adult, that's all you can do. Then, you have to let go.
When a child reaches puberty, which is the age of sexual consent, you have no right to determine who their sexual partner will or won't be. If you find yourself acting as moral arbiter in the life of your sexually active teen, twenty, or thirty year old, it's time to get a life! A natural instinct is the urge to protect a child, but only to a certain point - when you go beyond that point, healthy, natural instinct turns to unhealthy, unnatural obsession.
There are laws, existing laws, that protect people of all ages from rape and sexual harassment. We strongly suggest that these laws be enforced rather than manufacture new ones which can be manipulated in such a way as to target individuals and organizations who question or condemn government policy. Public Satanists are routinely martyred, accused of ritual or sex crimes, paraded, condemned before the media, stripped of their privacy, self-respect and presumption of innocence. Our personal friends have been exonerated of all charges, but only after a lengthy, expensive, exhaustive battle, in and out of the courtroom. Harassing phone calls and death threats continue indefinitely, despite their innocence.
No one should sexually impose upon an unaware, unconsenting child, or mentally impaired adult for that matter, or senior citizen! But, more often than not, the pedophile accusation is the first yanked from the hat! Why? Simply put, survival is the highest law, our most powerful instinct! The lioness will gladly lay down her life to defend her cubs. In other words, that thing which threatens our young, be it real or imaginary, is certain to push buttons and trigger defense mechanisms! False moralisms, outmoded Christian values, prey upon the imagination, subverting this natural instinct to protect our young, transforming this drive into a destructive, deadly weapon; a blunt instrument in the wieldy hands of the cunning puppet master. Take for example the evangelical preacher who cries from his pulpit, "Homosexuals are trying to recruit our children! We must fight to save our kids!" H.L. Mencken said it best, "The whole aim of practical politics is to keep the populace alarmed - and hence clamorous to be led to safety - by menacing it with an endless series of hobgoblins, all of them imaginary."
It's curious how we, as a culture, are sexually obsessed with our young. You see it in magazines, on television... everywhere! Satanists acknowledge this reaction, even have a definitive term for it; The Law of the Forbidden - once rooted, cultural taboos become erotic obsessions!
In conclusion, there are people who are alarmed! They have read the preceding paragraphs and are still hysterical, still behave in an irrational, reactionary manner whenever these issues are addressed. Perhaps these individuals were psychologically coerced or violated preceding puberty, during a crucial phase of their psycho-sexual development? Rape is traumatic at any age, but situations such as these can be quite damaging! We suggest these people seek counseling, psychiatric help. We sometimes suggest throwing a (symbolic) curse upon the perpetrator, willing their utter and complete destruction. Understand, a Satanist does not instigate harm upon another individual - we merely redress the balance once a wrong has been committed. Releasing this anguish could start one on the road to healing and recovery.

The Daemon Egan strongly advises FCoS parents to administer Discipline Tempered with Love. Never strike a child over the mere fact that he or she has inconvenienced you. If a child spills a quart of milk, calmly get a mop or sponge and teach them how to clean it up. Do not chase your child around, correcting each and every mistake. Teach them responsibility - make them do it!
Next, it is foolish to protect your child from the effects of folly. Does your child whine and complain when it is time to go to bed? Simple solution. Let them stay up, then drag them to school exhausted the following day. In a few short weeks they'll be putting themselves to sleep!
Corporal punishment should be administered when a child begins to exhibit behavior that could adversely affect their own well being. Stealing bicycles, cars, money from mom's purse - this could one day land him/her in prison. In such cases, corrective actions should be taken.
The Sigil of Baphomet.
The five symbols (one at each point of the Baphomet) are five Hebrew letters: Lamed (L), Vau (V), YOD (Y), Tau (Th), and Nun (N). These letters spell out the Hebrew word Leviathan (LVYThN).
1. The Leviathan is associated with the Ouroboros, or Serpent eating its own tail. This element of the Baphomet is derived from the Ophites who used the Serpent as a symbol of Wisdom. The Serpent represents the big-bang/crunch of the Cosmos (the simultaneous creation/destruction).
2. The Star itself comes from the Pythagorean school of Mathematics. Many have missed the association of Pythagoras' name with Python (another form of the Serpent Leviathan). In fact, one of the more Esoteric derivates of Baphomet is "Baphe-Metis," that is, Initiation into Wisdom-Measurement.
3. The Goat is Pan, the symbol of nature itself.
These three elements represent the Trinity, the three clans or schools of thought united under one symbol. Today, these people are known as Satanists, i.e., Tanists, SAT = "The One", TAN = "Darkness" (that which is invisible). The three clans are: (1) Pan/Arcadia - the goat (2) Ophite Jews - the Hebrew letters for LVYThN (3) Pythagorean - the pentacle, or pent-alpha, most commonly called the pentagram.
With two points up, the Pentagram symbolizes the natural and healthy venting of emotion. The one point down is the Lightning bolt or ENTROPY which produced the spark of life as we know it. You will notice that the center of the star resembles a house. Regarding the one-point-up (actually this star is truly "inverted") we say that the "house" is upside-down.
The sigil of Baphomet is
not a legal trademark or corporate logo as others would have you believe! Why?
Because it was not created in this century! Anyone can use this symbol - it is
in the public domain, just like the Christian crucifix or Jewish star of David.
If any person or organization threatens to sue you for using, advertising,
posting or merchandising items displaying this symbol, please report it to us
immediately! They are perpetrating fraud and will be dealt with swiftly and
severely!

Magic spells can be thrown any number of ways - you should stick with the method you are most comfortable with. What I'm about to do is give you information based on years of practical experience, not "theory" or some Wiccan Rede based on half-truths... yes, you can throw spells to force people to fall in love with you, but if you do it to the wrong person (which is usually the case), you will be very sorry because love spells bind people together!
First you must do a spell to attract your soul-mate, someone hand-picked by your daemon or Higher Self. I know a witch who did this. When she met the right man, it was at a social gathering. The witch knew this to be the sign she was waiting for - it wasn't a mere hallucination. Her heart was pleading - he was rich, handsome and wanted nothing to do with her! But the very fact that they were compatible spiritually gave the witch a clear advantage - the overwhelming force of nature was in her favor! She did a spell forcing him, binding him to her and it worked - he phoned her the next day. They have been together for 15 years (a true story).
Love spells are tricky and
dangerous. You might think you've found the right man, ignored all the warning
signs and wind up in and out of divorce court or even worse, destroying
yourself.

First of all, Jesus didn't die for your sins, you silly goose. A daemon like Gandhi, Jesus, Joan of Arc, will sometimes give their life for an expressed cause, to set an example for others straining under the yoke of oppression. He was simply saying, "Look upon me. I lived life on my own terms, according to my own design, and I was willing to give my life rather than forfeit my divinity." It worked for a while, but his message of unity was seized... distorted by political opportunists... couched in lies and deception!
The Wheel of Life turns and cycles
us through the ages of time where events are staged again and again, ad
infinitum. On each corner page of history the same principle powers appear on
the scene. Donning their mortal masks, they reenact the divine drama. Lord Egan
is one such daemon, having appeared in previous chapters as Ramses III,
Confucius, Lord Robert Bartholomew, Queen Isabella, Benjamin Franklin and
Howard Philip Lovecraft.

It's a very difficult concept for people to grasp that there is a positive side and a negative side to every issue. Ingesting mind-altering substances; beneficial or harmful? The truthful answer is: both. Yes, drugs can expand your consciousness and unlock your hidden creative potential . . . and yes, this is a path fraught with peril, hazardous to your physical and mental well-being.
In life, there are no guarantees, just as there are no free rides! Seasoned Satanists approach each and every issue dispassionately, like scholars. If an issue touches a sensitive nerve, these Satanists will quietly retreat and re-examine their own thoughts/feelings toward the object in question, from every conceivable angle! Eventually, they arrive at that lofty plane of indifference, where passions from both sides of the argument are quelled. However, this is often easier said than done - it may require goring one or two of your own sacred cows!
The FCoS thus stresses that drug use and drug addiction are not the same thing. Not everyone who uses is an "addict." Media talk shows and news correspondents, for their own greedy ends, always seem to promote ideas which only resonate with the notion of the perpetual victim. All of this is merely part of the overall process by which such agencies attempt to rob you of your volition, and implant their own self-serving agendas in your brain.
What drugs can do, however, that most often goes unexplained, is provide access to the Dionysian (subjective) realm that we close off so often in the pursuit of slave-like everyday "normality." To be creative, access to this realm is a must, and drugs are one -- but, we need to stress, NOT THE ONLY -- way to get there. A reasonable question to ask seems to be: "If drugs are so terrible, then why is it that so much great art has been created by drug users?" Answer: drugs take the user out of boring and mundane everyday reality and the constrictions of the societal superego into a freer mental and spiritual space.
Of course, there many examples of great artists and thinkers who have also been drug users. Coleridge, De Quincey, Baudelaire, Freud, Crowley, Rimbaud, Charlie Parker, Miles Davis, Lou Reed, and so on. Interestingly, if you compare work done on drugs, and work done when straight, by many artists, you will find that almost invariably the work done on drugs is far more inspired: in the realm of popular art, a good example would be David Bowie's work from 1970-1980, done when he was a heavy narcotics user, and which towers over anything he's done since. There are no shortage of people in rock and roll alone who've given up drugs and never come close to greatness again. This is no mere coincidence, and the inquisitive Satanist needs to examine the reasons for this.
Of course, the artist risks self-destruction in this process of discovery. But to quote Rimbaud, "A poet makes himself a visionary through a long, boundless, and systematized disorganization of all the senses . . . He attains the unknown, and if, demented, he finally loses the understanding of his visions, he will at least have seen them! So what if he is destroyed in his ecstatic flight through things unheard of, unnamable: other horrible workers will come, they will begin at the horizons where the first one has fallen!" The All is indeed One.
Finally, the word to take note of in Rimbaud's exhortation -- which differentiates the drug user from the kind of "addict" the media loves to "demon-ize" -- is "systematized." One undertakes this experiential journey with a goal in mind, not in a random and directionless fashion. As Miles Davis said, "It's when you take drugs and you ain't got nothing to do that you get in trouble." But anyone truly "elite" should be able to make drugs work for him/her, rather than ending up a slave to them. However, the FCoS again stresses that this is NOT, we repeat, NOT, a task to be undertaken lightly, nor is it meant for everyone. It is an option.

the legalization of all drugs and the immediate closure of the DEA (Drug
Enforcement Agency) and FDA (Food and Drug Administration) government offices
in the United States. Why? We believe in personal responsibility. Mortals must
be given right to choose - to make their own mistakes and suffer the
consequences of their own actions.

If it really matters to you, and you really want to know, then you have but to ask. In the dark of night, and with a open mind, say out-loud and really mean it, "Satan, I want the truth." Now, don't expect a burning bush experience, but over a period of time, events will transpire and chance meetings will occur so that one day, you will realize that the truth has been there all along. Of course, you will be as a judge, compiling many pieces of information and experience into a whole. When the process is complete, you will then have to weigh the facts and make an informed decision.
The answer you receive from Satan, using the above stated method, will be the "truth" you are seeking, but it will be your truth! When one begins "channeling messages" for others to read, then canonizing said documents, he no longer has a special relationship with the Prince of Darkness having betrayed his basic evolutionary premise, self-determination. A solid line of demarcation exists between Gnostic self-enlightenment and the evangelical tenets of a self-appointed "pontiff."
