Satanism

“The all is one”

Satanism is probably to most widely misunderstood religion in the world.

First of all I would like to say that Satanism is NOT Devil Worship. A devil worshipper is in fact an ‘inverse Christian’. Just as a Christian would claim to worship ‘good’ as a moral absolute, a devil worshipper claims to worship ‘evil’ as such. Satanists do no believe in Good/Evil, simply cause and effect. Devil worshippers are sometimes known as pseudo-Satanists. Devil worshippers, as the name suggests, worship the ‘evil’ Christian Satan, and therefore believe in ‘God’.

As a rule Satanists do not believe in ‘God’ or ‘Satan’ as entities (although some may chose to mentally represent Satan as an entity). Satanism is one of the Left Hand Path religions that state that divinity permeates nature and is not separate from it. Satanists believe that the universe came from the darkness or ‘The All’ and therefore the darkness is the consciousness of the Universe. The Satanic bible states that: ‘There is no God above man’, and that man is free to live his life in the way that he chooses, so long as he does not interfere with others’ rights to do the same without due motivation.

There are 3 main types of Satanism:

Gnostic Satanism – Linked to the belief that Satan represents an advanced alien being (although not a deity) that has progressed from the state of evolution that we are in. However Satan is still a part of The All.

Traditional Satanism – All about the cycle of life and death. Satan represents the force that at times, disrupts the balance in order for nature to progress.  As species die out, the hive soul is taken to form a daemon (such as Loki, Christ or Joan of Arc) these daemons are naturally born individuals who are weakened manifestations of the actual daemon.

Generational Satanism – Concerns the dark force that permeates and shifts the universe into place. It brings about both what man calls ‘good’ and ‘evil’. For true happiness to be experienced, one must have suffered the depths of gloom etc. It states that divinity is in everything, thus enforcing the worship of the divine self.

The side to Satanism that is usually either mocked or feared, is magick. Many Satanists practice black magick often. Unlike other religions where the witch/warlock draws power from a separate divine entity, Satanism professes to draw its power from the divine self. Black magick can be performed with or without ritual (ritual is necessitated simply by preference). Black magick often require meditation or immense concentration from the individual in order to truly unleash ones own power.

Satanists are among the most free-thinking and creative individuals on the planet, and will always attempt to keep an open mind on any matter. Many of their goals are reputed as ‘evil’ by Christian authorities, largely because they disagree with their own, hypocriticial beliefs. For example the issue of drug use. Satanists believe that drugs should be legalized as it is the responsibility of the individual to decide what to do with their body. Satanists also believs that drugs can be used carefully to open up a mysterious Dionysian realm in the brain which boosts creative potential. This immediately causes other religions to scream and shout and call Satanism ‘evil’ simply because they are not open minded enough to actually THINK about something.

I myself am a Generational Satanist and I am currently applying for membership in the online Church of Chaos (an online resource for a select group of Satanists). I am planning to donate a small fee to the First Church of Satan in the near future, in order to become an official citizen of the new world order. (NOTE- Satanism is not only for those who can afford to make donations, it is a non-profit organization, the only reason one must donate to become a Citizen of the New World Order is because the church cannot get funds any other way to issue its members with equipment, as it is largely shunned by world governments)

Of course, I would not be such a hypocrit that I would encourage arguments with other religions and not my own- therefore if you have any comments please email me or visit the message board below for public discussion.

Now then, it’s quite obvious that this particular religion is most interesting to those of a non-religious disposition. So I thought that I’d it would be appropriate to add the first set of articles to this section first.
