POETRY ARCHIVEMisery

(by  The Flaw In  Your Logic)

This world, with incoherence fraught,

My whole life's work has been for naught,

I tried but to perfect their lives;

My conscience burning, slowly writhes,

I wish this life could have less pain;

For those unlucky, with a brain,

Artistic talent left to rot,

The simple logic, hence forgot,

My life meant nothing, every day,

From here on out, ill fade away.

Alcohol

(by Dani)

I sip the blood red wine,

My thoughts weigh heavy with the burden of time,

From knowledge drunk from the fountain of life,

Chaos born among the sickle and scythe,

The forest beckons with her nocturnal call,

But I am drawn amidst the baying of wolves,

The bindings of Christ are downtrodden with scorn,

On the dark odiferous earth!!
