Islam
Islam, formerly the largest religion in the world and in my opinion one of the most powerful. I believe that Islam demands at least a small degree of respect, due to its complete and utter dominance over the lives of its followers.
Out of all religions, Islam
seems to demand the strongest adherence to principle and seems to completely
rule the lifestyle of its followers in every way. Muslims believe that they
must submit themselves fully to their religion in order to achieve true
happiness. I would have no quarrel at all with Islam (apart from that they
believe that human lives should be forfeit to an imaginary deity) were it not
for the fact that the governments in
control of largely Islam countries use their religion as a means of subduing
the population and creating a state with practical omnipotence for those in
power. Therefore, although the actual Islam religion seems to be refreshingly
lacking in hypocrisy, the humans that have seized control and distorted the
religious values, are riddled with lies and deceit.
I intend to post many articles
on Islam, including a short essay on the disgraceful actions taken against
